A klubházban Ica, Juca (az előreküldött felderítőink) vártak minket, finom sajtos tésztával. Ezután jött egy kis eligazítás, majd kezdetét vette a sátorverés. A gyerekeken látszott, hogy gyakoroltak: többnyire gyorsan, ügyesen felverték a sátraikat. Akiknek pedig nem sikerült, azoknak az idősebbek és a tanárok segítettek.

Az első, átmozgató edzésen új edzőket avattunk: három fiatalunk, Ádám, Marci és Tomi tartott egy kb. 1 órás átmozgató edzést a csapatnak.

A jól eső zuhany után jöhetett a vacsora, egy kis játék a klubházban és kint, a füvön (legfőképp a foci, a gyors tollaslabda, a pétanque és a frizbi aratott sikert a gyerekek körében), azután 10 órakor mindenkit elnyeltek a sátrak - eljött a takarodó ideje (amit a gyerekek rendesen be is tartottak).

Megkezdődött az első sátrazós éjszakánk, persze egy kiadós holland esővel...

In the clubhouse our scouts, Ica and Juca were waiting for us with a delicious pasta with cheese sauce. Then, Juca gave some instructions, and then we started to set up the tents. It was obvious that the kids hvae practiced it at home: most of them could set up the tent fast and easily. For the others, the older ones and the teachers were there to help.

We also had our first training to move all the muscles and ligaments. The training was held by three new trainers: Ádám, Marci and Tomi, and lasted for about an hour.

After a well-deserved warm shower we had dinner, after which the kids played some games in the clubhouse and on the field (the most popular ones were soccer, speedbadminton, pétanque and frisbee), and then, at 10 pm. all the kids disappeared in their tents - it was time to go to bed (and the kids followed the rules).

Our first night in the tents started, of course, with a real, heavy Dutch rainshower...

Mivel Hollandiában nem sikerült mobil netet szereznünk (3 órán át küzdöttünk a Vodafone ügyfélszolgálattal, de így sem jött össze), úgy döntöttünk, hogy a mai naptól kezdve újraéljük az élményeket napról-napra. Azaz mostantól minden nap jön egy poszt.

Kezdjük az utazással!

Dunakeszin találkoztunk 15:00-kor, az Auchan parkolóban már ott vártak a szülők, meg persze a gyerekek. Némi adminisztrációt követően elkezdtük bepakolni a buszba a csomagokat, illetve a szponzorainktól és a szülőktől kapott támogatást: a tésztát, krumplit, paprikát, ásványvizet, müzliszeleteket... Nem volt könnyű, de két sofőrünk, András és Csabi végül megbirkóztak a feladattal.

A Nyugati pályaudvarhoz mentünk, ahol felszálltak a Szegedről és Budapestről érkezők. Megtelt a busz, 62+2-en vágtunk neki a hátralévő 1332 km-nek. Abban maradtunk, hogy 3 óránként állunk meg, pihenni, sofőrt cserélni. A gyerekek elhelyezkedtek, belakták a buszt, majd kezdődött a mez-osztás: a holland HSC Hermes klub jóvoltából minden gyerek mezt és nadrágot kapott.

Később pár DVD-t is beraktunk, és közben fogytak a kilométerek. Volt, aki most először lépett külföldre, és rögtön 4 országot is kipipálhatott. Közben egy kicsit eltévedtünk Csehországban, egy bolond körforgalomban, szereltük egy kicsit a busz tükrét Németországban, aztán végre megpillantottuk a Nederland táblát. És már csak egy óra kellett, hogy eljussunk Rodenbe, a KV Noordenveld klubházához.

21 óra alatt értünk el a célhoz. Indulhatott a kaland...

Since we didn't manage to arrange a mobile net stick in the Netherlands (we sat 3 hours at the Vodafone helpdesk, without any result), we decided to start a re-live of the events from today. So, we will recall the events in a post day by day, as if they were happening now.

Let's start with our journey!

We met at 3 pm at Dunakeszi, where the parents and the kids were already waiting for us in the parking lot of the Auchan supermarket. After some administration we started to pack our stuff, and the food received from the sponsors and the parents (pasta, potato, paprika, mineral water, muesli bars...) into the coach. It wasn't an easy task, but our drivers, Andras and Csabi finally solved it.

Then we went to Budapest, to the Nyugati railway station, where the participants from Szeged and Budapest joined us. The coach was full, 62+2 of us started the remaining 1332 km. We decided to stop every 3 hours to take a rest, and let the drivers change. The kids took their places, and then we gave out the shirt of the tournament. Due to the kind support of HSC Hermes hockey club (NL), each kid received a nice shirt and shorts.

Later we watched some DVD's, and in the meantime, the remaining distance decreased. For some of the kids, it was the first journey abroad, and it immediately consisted of 4 countries (Slovakia, Czech Republic, Germany, The Netherlands). During the night we lost our way once in the Czech Republic, at a weird roundabout, and had to fix the mirror of the bus in Germany, but finally the 'Nederland' sign appeared, and 1 hour after that, we arrived to Roden, to the clubhouse of KV Noordenveld.

It took us 21 hours to reach our destination, and it was time for the big adventure to begin... 

Rodenben a helyzet jó. Zajlik a progam, nagyon sűrű az élet - és valamiért a heli mobil szolgáltatókkal nem vergődünk zöldágra. Úgyhgy egyelőre kicsit macerás a blog frissítése, de dolgozunk az ügyön.

Ami eddig történt: 22 órás, sima utazás után megérkeztünk Rodenbe, ahol felvertük a sátrakat, majd egy laza átmozgató edzést vezényelt 3 ifjú edző-jelölt: Ádám, Marci és Tomi. Az edzésen 3 holland lány is velünk dolgozott.

A vacsora után hamarosan aludni tértünk, mert mindenki hulla volt a hosszú utazástól (a buszon sok mindent lehet csinálni, de aludni nem nagyon :) ). Éjjel jó kis eső várt ránk, de többé-kevésbé szárazon került elő reggel a sátorból minden gyerkőc és felnőtt.

A reggeli futás és gimnasztika kemény volt, jól esett utána a reggeli. Ezután pihegtünk egy kicsit, majd következett az első, holland edző által tartott edzés: Marc Akkerman, a KV Sparta Zevenhuizen edzője tartott egy pörgős 2 órás foglalkozást a mieinknek és a csatlakozott 8 helyi játékosnak. A fókuszban a ziccerfutás, a távoli dobás technikája és labdaügyességi feladatok voltak.

Ebéd után bejöttünk Rodenbe, most épp ott vagyunk, a gyerekek a testnevelőik vezetésével várost néznek, vásárolgatnak.

Este még lesz egy edzés Sander Venekamp-pal, aki a helyi Noordenveld edzője, tegnap láttuk, jó hangosan tud kiabálni a játékosokkal. Reméljük, a mieinkkel nem lesz erre szükség :)

Éjjel, gondolom, mindenki még egy réteget felvesz, mert 11 fok várható, és ha mázlink van, ma nem jön eső.

Ha sikerül életre lehelni a mobil stick-et, akkor gyakrabban tudunk majd jelentkezni a blogon (épp a helyi Vodafone dolgozik az ügyön, nem tudják, mi a gond, adtunk tehát nekik egy izgalmas feladatot). Addig is olvassátok a levelező listát, és kövessétek a Facebook csoportot, ahová naponta kétszer írunk és posztolunk.

Ezzel a busszal megyünk, ezt keresd a parkolóban!

Van a klasszikus történet a Bibliában az Özönvízről, amikor 40 napon és 40 éjjelen keresztül esik az eső. A Biblia ezt igazi katasztrófának nevezi. Hollandiában ugyanenek a neve: nyár.

2012. őszén (amely évben különösen hideg és esős volt a nyár) az alábbi párbeszéd teljesen jogos volt fapapucsos barátainknál:

"-Mit szóltál az idei nyárhoz?
- Fogalmam sincs, hogy milyen lehetett, épp moziban voltam..."

Idén azért ennyire nem rémes a helyzet, de jó tudni, hogy a hollandoknál (óceáni éghajlat lévén) közel sem olyan forró és napos a nyár, mint Magyarországon. Amihez persze az ott élők is alkalmazkodtak: ha csak kicsit esik, az nem számít esőnek. Ha nagyon, az kicsinek számít. És ha jégeső zuhog, azért még bringára ülnek, aztán edzenek - a szabadban (saját tapasztalat, brrrrr...).

Most jégesőre nem számítunk, de 25 foknál melegebbre sem. Inkább olyan 20 fok lesz, éjjel 10-13, és szinte minden nap jöhet eső. Erre érdemes készülni, meg arra, hogy ilyen szempontból mi is akklimatizálódni fogunk: ha csak kicsit esik, semmi gond, megyünk lelkesen edzeni mi is.

There is the classic story in the Holy Bible when the rain was falling for 40 days and 40 nights. The Bible calls it a disaster. The Dutch call it: summer.

The summer of 2012 was extremely cold and rainy, so you could hear the following discussions during the Autumn that followed:

"Hey, what do You think about this year's summer?
Well, I have no idea how it was. I was then in the cinema..."
 

This year the situation is much more friendly, but You'd better be aware of the fact that in the Netherlands (due to the oceanic climate) the summer is much less hot and sunny than what we have here in Hungary. And, the locals got used to it: if it is only raining a bit, than it is not rain. If it is raining, they consider it being a light shower. And when icerain falls, they still take their bikes and go to the training, and train outside (own experience, brrrrr...).

We don't expect icerain during our trip, but do not expect temperatures exceeding 25 degrees either. What we'll have is on average 20 degrees during the day, and 10-13 during the night. And we expect some rain almost every day. Please prepare for that, because when in the Netherlands, we'll act like the Dutch: if it is only a light shower, no problem, we will go out and train.

Elkezdődött. Talán még észre sem vettétek, pedig ma hajnalban elkezdődött az utazásunk. Na jó, nem csoda, ha nem vettétek észre, mert ma csak annyi történt, hogy az előörsünk, azaz Ica és Juca elrepültek (vagyis e sorok írásakor repülnek) Hollandiába, hogy mindent előkészítsenek Rodenben.

Bevásárolnak, belakják a klubházat, és mindent elintéznek, amit el kell, hogy amikor mi hétfőn, kómásan a buszozástól, megérkezünk, minden flottul menjen. És legyen valaki a csapatból, aki nem teljesen zombi. :)

Ma reggel egyébként majdnem lőttem én is egy ilyen képet a reptéren, de aztán végül is nem, túl álmos voltam. Tiszta szerencse, hogy a google gyakorlatilag bármire tud képet találni. Most például a "napfelkelte a reptéren" szókapcsolatra.

Egy szó mint száz, a kaland elkezdődött, Hollandia vár minket!

It has started. Maybe, You didn't notice it yet, but our trip to the Netherlands started this morning. OK, it is no wonder that You didn't notice it: the only thing that happened today was, that our first pioneers, Ica and Juca took off for Eindhoven (actually, they take off now, as I write this post), so that they can prepare everything in Roden.

They do the shopping, get the clubhouse ready, and arrange everything, so when we arrive on Monday, in full zombie mode after the long travel with the bus, everything will go smoothly. And at least, we will have two people in the group who are not completely zombies yet. :)

By the way, this morning I almost made such a picture at the airport. But then I realized I was too sleepy to do so. Luckily enough, google finds a picture for every search phrase. This time it was "sunrise at the airport".

To make a long story short, the adventure has begun! The Netherlands is waiting for us!

A ma reggeli poszt a színeinkről szól. Mert lesznek azok is.

A mezünk, amelyet egy holland klubtól kaptunk, és zsír új (plusz jár hozzá nadrág is), például így fog kinézni:

A felnőttek (tanárok, edzők, kísérők) kék pólót kapnak majd, de azt még nem tudjuk megmutatni - legyen meglepetés!

Ami pedig a gyerkőcök és a többi utazónk biztonságot illeti, mindenki kap egy karszalagot az útra (köszönjük a Magyar Korfball Szövetség támogatását!), amelyen rajta van a telefonszámunk. A narancs a felnőttek karszalagja, a kék a játékosoké.

Reméljük, mind a mez, mind a karszalag, ha már majd végigszolgálta az utazást, bekerül a gyerekek korfballos ereklyéi közé!

Our team shirt, that we got from a Dutch club, that is brand new, and that comes also with shorts, will look like this:

The adults (teachers, trainers, helpers) will wear a blue T-shirt, but we can not show that to You right now. Let it be a surprize!

And, for the safety of our kids and all the praticipants, everyone will receive a wrist band (we are thankful for the support of the Hungarian Korfball Association!) that contains our phone numbers. The orange band is for the adults, while the blue one is for the players.

(almost a perfect Dutch flag... :) )

We hope that after the trip is over, both the shirt and the wrist band will become a part of the kids' collection of korfball relics!

Egyre jobb híreink vannak a hollandiai utazásról. Először is, többen is támogatnak minket, hogy jól érezzük magunkat az utazás során. A támogatók közül is kiemelkedik a Dunakeszi Tészta és a Mary-Ker Pasta Kft., amely 6 étkezésünkhöz elegendő tésztával segíti, hogy a sportolók gyorsan energiához jussanak. Ezúton is köszönjük nekik a támogatást!

A Pegazus First Team Kft. ásványvízzel lát el minket: 10 karton remek ásványvizet kapunk, úgyhogy minden gyereknek jut. A programot elnézve lesz is szükség a folyadékpótlásra :)

Azután, a busz: sokan kérdeztétek, milyen busszal megyünk. Nos, megkérdeztem: egy acélkék, három tengelyes Bova Futuroval fogunk utazni, amelyen 65+2 ülőhely található. A sofőrünk Attila (gyerekeknek: Attila bácsi), nagyon szimpatikus, két sportoló gyereke van, úgyhogy ismeri és érti az edzőtáborok légkörét.

Végül, már készül az a szószedet, amelyet a buszon kiosztunk a gyerekeknek, a legfontosabb holland kifejezésekkel. "Kérnék három disznópörzsölőt!", "Ez az út vezet Vlagyivosztokba?", "Mennyi a legfinomabb homárfilé kilója?" - nos, ezek NEM lesznek benne, viszont a "Köszönöm", a "Jó reggelt!" és társai igen.

...és akkor mostantól angolul ugyanez, külföldi olvasóinknak (mert belőlük is egyre több van hál'istennek):

We have great news about our trip to the Netherlands. First of all, we get support from more and more companies, so that we can have a lot of fun duing the trip. Our bigest sponsor so far is Dunakeszi Tészta (Dunakeszi Pasta) and Mary-Ker Pasta Ltd., who help us with enough pasta to prepare 6 meals. It means, the kids will get fresh energy quickly, so they will have enough power for the trainings. We are very thankful for the kind support!

Then, we also have a sponsor for the mineral water: Pegazus First Team Ltd. helps us with 10 boxes of fresh mineral water, so each and every kid will have enough to refill themselves during and after the trainings. I am pretty sure they will need it :)

And, something about the bus: well, I asked, it is a steel blue Bova Futuro with 3 axis, and it carries 65+2 persons. The driver is called Attila (for the kids: Uncle Attila), a really nice guy with 2 kids who do sports, so he knows everything about training camps.

And finally, we are now finishing the small dictionary that we will give to the kids at the beginning of the bus ride. It will contain the most important Dutch words and phrases. "Please give me three pig schorching devices!", "Is this the way to Vladivostok?", "How much is one kilo of the finest lobster fillet?" - these are the phrases we will NOT include. Instead, the kids can learn "Thank you!", "Good morning!" and some other similar stuff.
