A hatodik nap megint igen eseménydúsra sikeredett (mint az összes többi). Reggel ezúttal nem volt futás, mert kezdődtek a meccsek a helyi C-korosztály csapatai ellen, akik ráadásul komolyan vették a dolgot, mivel ezeken a meccseken (is) dőlt el, ki kerül az első, és ki a második csapatba. Ennek megfelelően nem a mi vegyes (értsd: kor, iskolák, korfball tudás szerint is vegyes) csapataink nyertek, de dobtunk egy csomó gólt, sőt, volt olyan félidő, amelyet döntetlenre hoztunk. A torna végén ráadásul a KV Drachten erre az eseményre készített kis zászlóját is megkapta minden játékosunk emlékbe, mi pedig pár üveg jó magyar borral köszöntük meg a fantasztikus vendéglátást.

Azután bepakoltunk a buszba, és máris indultunk. Várt ránk Giethoorn, a holland Velence, a városka, ahol autóval nem, csak hajóval lehet közlekedni. Egy kis séta után meg is érkeztünk, és rögtön két hajót is megtöltöttünk. Az egy órás utazás bizonyította, hogy Giethoorn nem csak az útikönyvekben és a netes fotókon, de a valóságban is szép, megéri a látogatást.

A hajókat elhagyva a gyerekek elmehettek szuveníreket venni, majd tovább indultunk. Csakhogy közben történt valami a busszal: Henk és Gerrit, valamint a két sofőr feldíszítette, ugyanis éppen Zsombor születésnapja volt, ráadásul az út során még két gyerkőc ünnepelhetett: Marci névnapot, Dávid születésnapot. Így a hollandos díszítés is nekik szólt, csakúgy mint a teljes naracs öltözék sapkástól, pólóstól. Remek meglepetés volt mindez holland barátainktól!

A következő állomás Martha és Gerrit barátaink farmja volt (őket is a Várgesztesi Villaparkból ismerjük), akik levessel, szendviccsel, saját készítésű sütivel, valamint születésnapi tortával vártak minket. Szuper érzés volt, hogy láthatóan a szívüket és a lelküket is beletették a vendéglátásba, még korfball állványt is kerítettek: mindent megtettek azért, hogy jól érezzük magunkat. Jól is éreztük! :)

Mintegy két órát töltöttünk náluk, korfballal, focival, és került pár fapapucs is, amelyet mindenki felpróbálhatott, aki akart. Mások pedig a farm állataival, leginkább a lovakkal ismerkedtek, de volt, aki a 200+ tehenet befogadó tehenészetbe is eljutott.

Már elég későre járt, ideje volt továbbmennünk, hiszen ismét sátorverés várt ránk: Apeldoornba mentünk, ahol Hero és a CSV Apeldoorn futballklub voltak a vendéglátóink. Már csaknem sötét volt, mire megérkeztünk, de szerencsére egy jól felszerelt futball klubnál ez nem lehet akadály: a pálya reflektorai remek fényt adtak a sátorállításhoz, amit mindenki gyorsan, profin elvégzett. Nem volt más hátra, mint takarodót vezényelni, hogy másnap a gyerekeknek legyen ereje az újabb kalandokhoz...

The sixth day (as all the others) was packed with action again. In the morning we skipped the running session, as we played a small tournament against the local C-youth teams. And, they took the matches seriously, because the decision on who is going to the first team, and who is going to the second, was (partly) based on their performance against us. So, to be honest, it was not our mixed (age-wise, school-wise and korfball skills-wise mixed) teams that won, but we scored a lot of goals, and we had a half when the score was equal. At the end of the tournament all players received a small flag from KV Drachten, specially prepared for the tournament, while we gave our hosts some bottles of good Hungarian wine to thank for the fantastic time.

Then we packed all our stuff into the bus, and hit the road. We were heading towards Giethoorn, the Dutch Venice, where you can not use your car, you have to go by ship or boat instead. After some walking we arrived to the centre, and our group was big enough to fill two sight-seeing boats. The one hour boat ride proved that Giethoorn is really amazing also in reality, not only on the photos of the guidebooks or of the internet. So, it definitely worth a visit.

Before going back to the bus, the kids had some time to buy souvenirs. But then, when we returned to the bus, we realized that something happened. Henk and Gerrit, plus the two drivers decorated the bus, because it was the birthday of Zsombor, and also, two more kids had a celebration during the trip: Marci had his nameday, while David also had his birthday. So the Dutch decoration was for prepared for them, and they also received a full orange outfit, from a hat to a t-shirt, as a special surprize from our Dutch friends.

The next stop was the farm of Martha and Gerrit (we know them from the Vargesztes Villapark), where our hosts were waiting for us with warm soups, sandwiches, hand-made cupcakes and a birthday cake. It was a great feeling to see that they put their heart and soul into the event, they even got a korfball post for us. Really, they did everything, so that the kids would have fun. And of course, the kids did have a lot of fun! :)

We spent two hours at their place, playing korfball, soccer, and making photos of each other wearing a real pair of wooden shoes. The kids could also discover the animals: mostly the horses, but some even saw the 200+ cows.

It was getting late, so we had to leave, as we had to set up our tents in Apeldoorn. Here our host, Hero and the local soccer club, CSV Apeldoorn were waiting for us. It was almost dark when we arrived, but luckily it wasn't a problem: the lights of this well equipped football pitch provided perfect brightness while we were setting up the tents, and the kids were fast and professional. So, the only thing left for the day was to go to bed, so that the kids would have enough energy for the adventures of the coming day...
