A harmadik napunk nem úgy alakult, ahogy eredetileg terveztük. Merthogy előző nap megszavaztattuk a gyerekeket, mit szeretnének: várost nézni Groningenben, vagy elmenni a tengerhez. Nos, 28:23 arányban a tenger nyert, úgyhogy az eredeti tervben szereplő Groningent kihagytuk.

Reggel a szokott rutin szerint indítottuk a napot: futás, gimnasztika, majd reggeli, utána pedig egy edzés, amelyet ezúttal Gijs Bos és Elise van Maastrigt (KV Noordenveld) tartott, Marc Akkerman segítségével. Ezúttal ismét az alaptechnikákra fókuszáltunk, érdekes, új feladatokkal. És megtudtuk, hogy Gijs elismert énekes Hollandiában - a gyerekek rögvest meg is kérték egy rövid dal előadására.

Ebéd után indultunk a tengerhez, de közben kiderült, hogy a klubház lefolyója sajnos eldugult - nem bírta a hatalmas csapat okozta terhelést. Ezért kihívtuk az önkormányzat csapatát, hogy oldják meg a problémát. Ők ki is jöttek, de tervrajzok híján nem tudtak beavatkozni.

Eközben csapatunk megérkezett a Lauwersmeerhez, ahol a gyerekek megnézték a gátat, amely révén a hollandok újabb területeket hódítanak el a tengertől. Végigbuszoztunk a gáton, majd megálltunk fürdőzni, mármint lábat áztatni a Lauwersmeerben. Némi fagyizás, trambulinozás, sültkrumplizás után indultunk haza, Rodenbe.

A délutáni edzést az a Leo van der Lei tartotta, aki már tavaly is tartott képzést tanárainknak. Leo nagy örömmel látta, hogy a tavalyi munkának meglett a gyümölcse, a rengeteg gyerek, amely az egyes sulikban korfballozni kezdett.

Az edzés után egy helyi játékos, Kyra interjút készített Kittyvel, ám eközben sajnos a Lauwersmeer beköltözött a klubházba: a dugulás teljesen úrrá lett rajtunk, muszáj volt tenni valamit. Először a helyi mesterek próbálkoztak, de a dugó rajtuk is kifogott, így a nap hősét kellett hívnunk: a gyorsszolgálatot, amely 200 baros víznyomással pillanatok alatt szétrobbantotta a dugulást, úgyhogy lehetett menni zuhanyozni lefekvés előtt.

És közben, szűk körben megünnepeltük konyhacsapatunk oszlopos tagját, Violát, aki pont ma ünnepelte 18. születésnapját (plusz pár év tapasztalat :) ), így ünnepi hangulatban ért véget az újabb izgalmas nap.

On the third day our schedule was different from what we planned. Because the day before we asked the kids to vote whether they would like to visit Groningen, or go to the sea. Well, the result of the voting was 28:23, so we went to the sea, and left Groningen out.

We started the day accoring to our usual routine: running, gymnastics, breakfast, and then a training that was held by Gijs Bos and Elise van Maastrigt (KV Noordenveld), who were assisted by Marc Akkerman. This time we focused on the basic techniques again with interesting, new exercises. And we also learned that Gijs was a well-know singer in the Netherlands, so the kids asked him to perform a short song for us.

After lunch we went to the see, but in the meantime we learned that the drainage tube of the clubhouse was stuck - maybe our group was too big to handle. So was called the service team of the local government to solve the problem. They came, but had no plans of the tubes, so they had to leave without any result.

While they were in the clubhouse, our group arrived to the Lauwersmeer where we saw the dam, by which the Dutch conquer more land from the sea. We drove along the dam, and then we stopped to take a swim - well, at least make our feet wet in the Lauwersmeer. The kids also had some icecreams, french fries and jumped on the trampoline, and then we left for Roden.

The afternoon training was held by Leo van der Lei, who also gave a clinic to the teachers last year. Leo was very happy to see the result of last year's work - the amazing amount of kids who started to play korfball in the schools. 

After the training one of the local players, Kyra made an interview with Kitty, but, unfortunately, in the meantime the Lauwersmeer decided to join us in the clubhouse. The drainage tube was stuck completely, so we had to do something. First the local experts tried to unlock the tube, but they didn't succeed, so we had to call the hero of the day: the emergency service, that brought its' special machine with 200 bars of pressure, and opened the tube again. So, we could take a shower before going to sleep.

And, we also celebrated one important member of our kitchen team, Viola, who celebrated her 18th birthday (plus some years of experience :) ), so we finished this exciting day in high festive mood.
